In the scandal around Listeria contaminated sausage of the butchery company Wilke, the Hessian Ministry of Consumer Protection has published a list of affected brands.
According to the Ministry all private labels of the company Wilke are affected with the identity mark "DE EV 203 EG". The same applies to the following trademarks and trade names, provided they carry the "DE EV 203 EG" identification mark:
- House on Eichfeld
- Metro boss
- Service Bund "Servisa"
- CASA
- Pickosta
- Sander Gourmet
- Rohloff manufactory
- intersection
- Korbach
- ARO
- Findt
- domino
The Hessian Minister Priska Hinz secured enlightenment in the case. There are still many questions that should be clarified "with the responsible district administration, the regional council Kassel and the task force food safety", said Hinz.

Since many Wilke products were sold to sausage counters in supermarkets, the ministry advised "in case of doubt, ask at the respective outlets whether products from Wilke were sold there." On Monday it became known that a sausage cold cuts of the company in the catering trade of the furniture retailer Ikea was sold.
The meat producer Wilke is associated with two deaths in southern Hesse and 37 other illnesses. Multiple Listeria bacteria have been detected in Wilke products.
The germs can be life-threatening for people with weakened immune systems. The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg had closed the operation with 200 employees on Tuesday of last week. The prosecution investigates for negligent homicide.
The company got into financial distress after the allegations became known and applied for provisional insolvency proceedings on Friday.
