Gold prices rose today to their highest level in a week as investors bought yellow metal after contradictory reports on trade talks between the United States and China.
Spot gold gained 0.1 percent to $ 1,506,78 an ounce, while US futures fell 0.1 percent to $ 1,511.80 an ounce, Reuters reported.
For other precious metals, silver prices rose 0.1 percent to $ 17.72 an ounce, and palladium rose 0.2 percent to $ 1684.91.
