The Syrian Trading Establishment seeks to intervene positively in the markets to face the high prices of a number of goods and materials due to the greed of some traders by redoubling its efforts in securing various basic consumer goods and catering to its citizens in its halls at constant prices and high quality, providing more than six thousand two hundred commodities of different types.
Through one thousand one hundred and twenty-five branches distributed in different governorates, Syrian Trade works on a daily basis to expand the commodity assortment and provide it at lower prices than the market, especially oil, sugar and other materials by between fifteen and twenty percent and meat sold less than the market by between twenty to twenty-five. It is a difference that the citizens are looking for, which alleviates the high cost of economic challenges.
SANA monitored the views and impressions of a number of citizens about the prices and quality of goods available in the Syrian trade halls, most of them are in the interest of the citizen, while some demanded to increase the work to control and reduce prices more and take into account the low-income people and ease the burdens of living on citizens.
Syrian Trade Halls is an important step in stabilizing prices, according to the citizen Hani Noelati, who went to the Hall of May 29 in Salhia to buy some food and household items, indicating that the goods available in it cover the basic commodities in full and prices of some of them clearly below the market, while there are similar prices to the market, but certainly not There is a higher price, which was approved by the citizen Nadine Khadr in terms of prices and quality.
At the accounting table, Mr. Al-Sayyed pointed out what he saw from the difference in oil prices and sugar between the market and the Syrian trade halls, pointing out that the instability of prices is due to the greed of some traders. He considered that the citizen has confidence in any commodity provided by the state institutions in terms of price, date of production and validity, especially with what he hears about the volume of seizures organized in the markets for fraud and irregularities.
Tariq inspects the prices of goods and types in the hall of the Umayyad Complex and confirms that the prices of goods in the halls of the institution are lower than the market, but must be reduced to suit all segments.
The director of the Umayyad Complex, Ali al-Sankari, pointed out that the complex was equipped and supplied with a wide variety of basic foodstuffs from salmon, oils, detergents and household appliances at prices below the market of ten to fifteen percent.
Sankari pointed out that during the next few days and with the advent of winter will open a hall dedicated to carpets, heaters and blankets at prices below the market by up to twenty-five percent, stressing to continue to work hard to ensure the arrival of goods from the product to the consumer at the lowest prices.
Minas Khalil, director of the Syrian May 29 Hall in Salhia, confirmed the foundation's keenness to develop its work and provide all basic materials of different types to citizens. He pointed out that all the goods in the hall today are well known brands and high quality meet the wishes of everyone.
According to Khalil, all kinds of meat are available in the May 29 hall at 1150 for chickens and 5200 for sheep, which makes a big difference to the prices of meat in private shops.
The Syrian trade halls in all its branches are open throughout the week from 9 am to 8 pm or 10 pm in some lounges.
In a hopeful and awaited move, SAMA seeks to activate its sales outlets, expand targeting rural areas, and set the necessary controls to ensure the availability of basic materials in all its branches and monitor their prices.
