Washington-SANA
The United States today imposed customs duties on a wide range of goods imported from the European Union worth $ 7.5 billion.
According to Agence France-Presse that the fees include aircraft produced by the Airbus Group for the manufacture of air, French wine and Scottish whiskey.
According to a list published by the Office of the US Trade Representative, these duties are 10 percent on aircraft imported from the European Union and 25 percent on other products, including wine, cheese, coffee and olives, explaining that the bulk of the sanctions will apply to goods imported from France, Germany, Spain and Britain.
The World Trade Organization ruled earlier this month that some EU subsidies to Airbus were "illegal", which the United States had used as a pretext to impose tariffs on EU goods as Washington announced plans for new tariffs.
