The warning strike at Lufthansa announced for Sunday has been canceled. For this purpose, machines of the German Lufthansa subsidiaries Eurowings, Germanwings, Lufthansa Cityline and SunExpress will be on strike between 5 and 11 am on Sunday, according to the cabin union Ufo.
The Lufthansa strike may have affected 160 flights. Lufthansa had met with a voluntary pay increase of two percent by the end of the year, however, the union demands, said Ufo.
This could now passengers on more than 300 flights of subsidiaries have the disadvantage. In addition to Munich and Frankfurt, Eurowings bases such as Dusseldorf, Stuttgart or Berlin should also be affected.

The union had officially demanded 1.8 percent more money for the approximately 22,000 flight attendants at Lufthansa. However, Ufo is calling for other specific tariff targets for the remaining companies.
Behind the labor dispute is a deep rift between UFO and the Lufthansa Group. The company no longer recognizes the Ufo board as having the right to represent itself after significant management disputes and intends to have the union denied the collective bargaining power in court.
