"Colors": risk is purple, my childhood was green

"Anno Domini": When could that have been please?
Each card set of the classic "Anno Domini", which first appeared in 1998, contains around 340 cards - the most recent being "Curiosities" in 2018. But there are also "Germany", "women" and "church and state", a total of 31, plus a number of special editions. (The company Unilever, for example, issued its own.)
Each card has an event, each player has some cards in his hand and has to discard them one by one. It is important not to interrupt the timeline: "A woman leads the UN General Assembly" - was that before or after "A woman is standing for the first time on the summit of the Matterhorn"? Often you are completely wrong and just bluff. (And if in doubt, Chinese or Egyptians invented things before the beginning of our era that they would have thought possible much later.) Anyone who doubts the wrong thing must take penalty cards - whoever has done wrong or has not doubted a wrong series, too.
"Anno Domini" is not an educational game. The events are chosen so that they are not part of the general education. This protects against embarrassment - and welds together, although you play against each other. The sets can be mixed.
