Gold prices fell in spot transactions today.
The price of gold fell 0.1 percent to $ 1,511.42 an ounce, while US gold futures rose 0.2 percent to $ 1,513.90 an ounce.
Among other precious metals, silver rose 0.1 percent to $ 18.11 an ounce, platinum rose 0.7 percent to $ 952.71 an ounce, while palladium rose 0.5 percent to $ 1814.21 an ounce.
