The union Syndicom has accused the Swiss Post in connection with a flyer sexism. The predominantly female post office employees were to distribute the advertisement for the postal subsidiary PostFinance to customers with the slogan "A smile is enough to turn me on".
Employees then intervened with the union, which revolted about sexist advertising. "The spell should actually be a relic of yesteryear, such a sexist advertising phrase has no place in the 21st century," she said, demanding an end to the distribution campaign.
"We condemn every form of sexism", it was said by the Swiss Post. She understood that employees felt uncomfortable. The distribution action had been stopped.
