Talks held today at the Damascus Chamber of Commerce between the German parliamentary delegation headed by Frank Bazeman, head of the contact group for Syria in the parliament and the Council of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, discussed the possibility of restoring economic and trade relations between Syria and Germany to the previous era and working to lift unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria.
For his part, Secretary General of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Mohammed Hamsho said that any steps to restore economic and trade relations between Syria and Germany should be preceded by the process of lifting coercive economic measures from Syria, pointing out that the trade exchange between Syria and Germany was the largest for European countries before these measures.
He pointed out the importance of the return of Syrian refugees from Germany to their country and to contribute to the reconstruction of their country and the development and development of its economy.
