Talks held today at the Damascus Chamber of Commerce between the German parliamentary delegation headed by Frank Bazeman, head of the contact group for Syria in the parliament and the Council of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, discussed the possibility of restoring economic and trade relations between Syria and Germany to the previous era and working to lift unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria.

The President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Ghassan Al-Qalaa stressed the importance of working to lift the Western economic siege and unilateral coercive economic measures on the Syrian people and take steps towards the return of economic relations between the two countries, pointing out that Syria will be rebuilt by its children and help friends.
