Aida Cruises has canceled the maiden voyage of "Aida Mira". The cruise ship was christened on Saturday evening in Palma de Mallorca and was supposed to leave on Sunday afternoon for a three-night tour in the Mediterranean. However, there are still too many areas not completely completed, said Captain Manuel Pannzek.
The passengers had already checked in. You will be refunded the travel price. In addition, Aida Cruises welcomes all guests to spend their vacation on board until December 4 in Palma and to use the time for exploring the island. The team wanted to provide an "attractive excursion program".
The first trip to Africa should now start on 4 December. The "Aida Mira" - 216 meters long, with space for 1800 passengers - is a reconstruction of the former "Costa neoRiviera".
