The best way for men to comb their hair is not to put themselves up, either forward or sideways instead of up. "If the pony gets too flat, he lets his hair out in the front," says Graf-Pagel.
The main thing is casual
Jörg Oppermann also knows this trick. It is important, however, that the hair flatters the face. This is also confirmed by Graf-Pagel: "It makes a lot of difference when the hair looks out the sides." Short hairstyles so rather a bit longer, so that the hair under the cap comes to light. "It is important that it looks casual," said Oppermann, "for the pony must not be cut too accurately, even on the neck and ears, the hair should be fringy".
In addition, Oppermann advises to blow dry the pony and ponytail. This could also help hair dryers with ionizing effect. They are intended to prevent the electrostatic charge of the hair. The choice of headgear is of course a budget issue. Wool or crochet sets are good and cheap alternatives, which is why Anja Graf-Pagel has been knitting her caps for a long time.
The decisive factor is not the cap shape
Whether homemade or bought: "The cap shape is not crucial, it is more important that the headgear fits the style and type," said Oppermann.
If you like fashion, Graf-Pagel recommends caps in bright colors like yellow, red or green. "You wear them upwards," says the expert, who also works as a stylist.
