Oil rose today to its highest level in three months, affected by positive reports on the trade agreement between Beijing and Washington.
Reuters reported that the global benchmark Brent crude rose to 65.22 dollars a barrel, its highest level since September 23, while West Texas Intermediate crude increased 74 cents to 59.92 dollars a barrel.
The fall of the US dollar, along with an increase in the British pound, helped support commodities, as the sterling rose more than two percent, supported by the results of the British elections.
