The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources announced the introduction of the Sharifa 2 and Sharifa 104 wells into production, which adds approximately one million cubic meters per day of gas to the network.
The ministry said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the Ministry of Oil cadres completed the lines of connecting the two wells to the network in a record time of 15 days to meet the growing demand for gas to run electric power plants, through the intensification of the workshops continuously and with national experiences in cooperation with the Military Construction Company .
The Ministry expected that this additional amount of gas will have a good impact on the reality of electrical feeding.
