$ 5.6 Million for Half a Minute: The Super Bowl commercials do everything to keep them indifferent

Hundreds of millions of Americans will gather around television tonight to watch the Super Bowl, and just as importantly, in the advertisements that accompany it at a cost of $ 186,666 per second of broadcast, the world's leading brands are trying to conquer our hearts all the way to the pocket

Tonight (Sunday) will be the most anticipated annual event in the advertising world: the Super Bowl. Over 100 million people will gather around the television screen to find out who will win the title of American Super Bowl champion - whether it be the Kansas City Chiefs or maybe San Francisco '49. But the big story of the evening, at least for the advertisers, is not at all on the football field, but at the break of commercials during the game.

According to reports, this year advertisers paid about $ 5.6 million for a 30-second slot - $ 186,666 per second. Last year's advertising price was $ 5.25 million. And when the price doesn't stop climbing, the standards go up, and so does the scope of stars in commercials. In the race for virality and the war on the audience's memory, the "wow" effect becomes paramount. Here are some of the most notable commercials to be aired tonight.
1. Sodhstream has reached Mars

The Israeli brewed liquor company has returned to the Super Bowl prime time for the first time since 2014. Sudhester's commercials are tracking a bunch of astronauts discovering water on Mars land. The commercials feature two well-known US figures: the first is scientist Bill Nye (The Planetary Society), who is strongly associated with the fight for environmental protection; the second is 18-year-old Elisa Carson - the youngest astronaut ever To Mars.

Sodhstream also appeals to the environmentalists. At the end of the video, the company notes that by 2025, the use of its disposable product will save 67 billion disposable plastic bottles.
2. Strauss makes history

Another Israeli company participating tonight is Strauss with its international chick brand Sabra, which is co-owned with PepsiCo. For its first Super Bowl commercial, the company recruited drag stars Kim Chee and Miz Cracker, who participated in the reality show "The Race for Drag Paul's Drag." This is a historic moment, as it is the first time that two drag queens are leading a Super Bowl commercial. The commercial has not yet officially aired, and there are already voices coming out against it. Christian groups have demanded the Football League (NFL) remove the ad, claiming it is not family-friendly content.
3. Amazon goes back in time

This year stars in an advertisement by Amazon Alan DeGeneres and her partner Portia De Rossi, who wonders how humanity managed to get by before Alexa came to our lives. Amazon of course answers this question. The advertisement goes back in time and shows people at different times trying to heat the room, tell a joke or present the news - all the things that Alexa does easily today, and according to Amazon, even more successfully.
4. Google elaborates on the heart strings

Google's exciting ad follows a grown man using Google services to remember his late wife, Loretta. During the ad, Loretta pictures appear, and Google's assistant follows the announcer's comments, which tells her that his wife hated his mustache and describes how she laughed. Finally, the maid creates a video to help him keep the memories going. The ad is based on a true story of one of Google's grandparents, who even interviewed the ad himself.
5. The car makers are famous and pleased

The car makers have brought big names to their Super Bowl commercials. Maisie Williams presents its own version of "Let it GO" in Audi's advertisement, while Chris Evans, John Krasinski and Rachel Dratch showcase the remote parking capabilities of the new Hyundai vehicles.

In Porsche, which last appeared in the Super Bowl 23 years ago, they decided to introduce the new electric vehicle with the help of a super fast car race.

6. Facebook also reaches the Super Bowl

Facebook is appearing for the first time this year in the discontinuation of the Super Bowl. The social network chose to use a familiar face for this: comedian Chris Rock and cinematographer Sylvester Stallone. And what does she sell? The fact that you can find a Facebook group on almost any topic you want.
7. Chitose reveals how a hit was born

Snack maker Chitos brought rapper MC Hammer to explain what the real meaning behind his iconic hit "Can't Touch This" is.

8. The beverage makers make gestures

The beverage maker Mountain Ink is paying tribute to the "Sparkling" calt film, which is based on Stephen King's book. "Breaking Bad" star Brian Cranston and actress Tracy Ellis Ross are recreating one of the most memorable scenes in the movie to feature Mountain Ink's new diet drink.

And to Pepsi Max, they chose to showcase their diet drink by paying tribute to the Rolling Stones' Paint It, Black song by HER and Missy Elliott.

9. In Prinlegs the fourth wall is broken

And finally, you have to laugh a little bit at this exaggerated advertising industry. In Pringles, they chose the series "Rick and Morty" to promote their products, and as the video shows, the heroes of the series are unhappy with the combination of these forces.
