OUR ADVICE - If your train does not arrive on time, you are entitled to compensation, generally in the form of vouchers. Here's how to take advantage of it.

If your train arrives late, you can get compensation. Provided that a request is made to use the SNCF G30 punctuality guarantee. If it is not necessary to justify particular damage, the guarantee does not apply to all trains and is only triggered above a certain threshold, depending on the type of train.

1. How can I find out about the delay of my train?

This information is available at the station, upon arrival, or from the SNCF. The railway company keeps train information for 60 days. Enter the 6-letter reference number from your travel file on sncf.com or oui.sncf to obtain them. This number can be found on your ticket or in your booking confirmation email.

2. What compensation am I entitled to?

You have two months to claim the G30 guarantee from SNCF. It is valid on Intercités and TGV Inoui trains (excluding TER and Transilien). You can get a refund
