Saint-Gobain: "We are the solution to the climate challenge"

The CEO of Saint-Gobain takes stock of the company's situation, after a dynamic year in 2019, with a turnover of 42.6 billion euros (+ 2.4% like-for-like), a result of 3.39 billion (+ 4.7%) and a net current result of 1.91 billion (+ 10%).

LE FIGARO. - You unveiled a strategic plan at the end of 2018. What is your assessment of 2019 for its first year of application?

Pierre-André DE CHALENDAR.- This is a very good year for Saint-Gobain. Another year of growth in turnover and profit, combined with a very strong generation of cash. We outperform in all of our businesses. And we are ahead of our strategic transformation plan. Our new organization was put in place very quickly. In addition, we have exceeded our disposal targets.
