With global warming, followers of trendy terraces could migrate from the Mediterranean to the Normandy coast. A visionary, Thierry Bourdoncle, owner of the famous Sénéquier café in Saint-Tropez, has just taken over several institutions in Deauville and Trouville. Associated with the Perceva investment fund in Groupe Bourdoncle, it has just bought the restaurants Les Mouettes, Le Drakkar, L'Annex, Marinette, as well as Le Central and the adjoining 24-room hotel. These assets belonged to the Van Colen family group.

Groupe Bourdoncle has around fifteen addresses (White Owl in Megève, Café Charlot, Dôme de Villiers and Saint-Régis in Paris…). Recipe? “Keep each DNA in each place; do not make it a fashionable place ”, according to Thierry Bourdoncle, who is eyeing a dozen other establishments in France.
