The global giant of shopping centers continues its slimming cure. As it had indicated during the presentation of the results in February, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) will sell 52.4% of the capital of a portfolio valued at 2 billion euros and grouping five shopping centers of the Hexagon. The purchasers are Crédit Agricole Assurances and the management company La Française, of which Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe is the reference shareholder. The sites concerned are Aéroville, near the Parisian airport of Roissy, So Ouest, in the Paris suburbs, at Levallois-Perret, Rennes Alma, Toison d'Or in Dijon and Confluence in Lyon.
Aéroville, opened in October 2013, saw its attendance increase more slowly than expected. But, " the five divested centers are homogeneous, with a good reputation, stabilized revenues and clientele, without having any major development projects" , underlines a spokesperson for the group.
