The main index of the Damascus Securities Exchange, at the end of the trading of the second week of the current month of March, rose by 7.62 points from last week, to close at the value of 6334.40 points and a positive change of 12.12 percent.
The index of leading shares weighed by free shares "DLX" rose 9, 60 points, by 875.0 percent, and closed at 1119.03 points.
And recorded this week 13 companies trading its shares, reaching a size of 175,442 shares, distributed among 654 deals, with a total value of 127,855 million pounds.
The market witnessed changes to the shares of 10 companies, of which the shares of three companies rose, the share of Sham Bank increased by 19.2 percent, closed at the price of 71,688 pounds and Sharq Bank share by 1.3 percent and closed at the price of 50.734 pounds and the Syriatel share by 74.1 percent and closed at the price of 11,8085 pounds.
The seven low shares are Al-Aqeelah Takaful Insurance share by 3.33 percent and closed at the price of 343.07 pounds and the share of eligibility for vegetable oils by 84.1 percent and closed at the price of 391 pounds and the share of Al-Baraka Bank by 0.17 percent and closed at the price of 63,1005 pounds and the share of the World Bank and financing by 3.03 percent and closed at the price 492.50 pounds and the Qatar National Bank share by 0,0 84 percent and closed at the price of 34,609 pounds and the Syrian International Islamic Bank by 0,49 percent and closed at the price of 48,602 pounds and the share of Bank of Syria and the Gulf increased by 2 percent and closed at the price of 50,381 pounds.
The shares of other companies listed in the market did not register any change in their prices and closed equal to the previous closing prices.
