Distributors faced with the imperative to deliver isolated and fragile people first

In some brands, local systems are being set up, with privatized openings for the elderly or delivery systems.


While the French are gradually learning to live confined, the watchword remains the same: priority for the frail and the medical staff. The leitmotif also applies in the food distribution, to deliver the people at risk and those isolated. Casino (Monoprix, Géant, Franprix, etc.) has therefore created a telephone number dedicated to people with little internet connection. At Monoprix and Franprix, a ready-made basket of food and hygiene products that can last 3 or 4 days is available: 30 euros for a conventional version, 40 euros for the Gourmet version, Monoprix's own brand.
