Distributed in nearly 220,000 companies, 2.2 million employees are affected by partial unemployment, according to figures given by the Minister of Labor, Muriel Pénicaud, on March 26. Business leaders who have not applied for a partial activity still have time. From the partial start-up or administrative closure, the company has thirty days to make the dematerialized request to the Direcctes (regional labor offices). "This retroactive effect allows all requests to be taken into account and that no one is harmed," says the office of the Ministry of Labor. In fact, many companies have not yet been able to deposit it on the activitepartielle.emploi.gouv.fr website which may be saturated. The platform, which had to close due to an overcrowding, has since "been sized to receive 3,000 requests per minute," the ministry said.
