Union war around Renault. The secretary general of the CFDT Laurent Berger judged on Saturday the "irresponsible CGT" for having obtained in court the closure of the Renault-Sandouville factory while a "fairly exemplary social dialogue" had taken place for a resumption "in complete safety "
"The posture of the CGT is irresponsible and unfounded [...] This closure, forced by the recourse of the CGT, is very serious", denounced Laurent Berger on France inter.

- France Inter (@franceinter) May 9, 2020While the Sandouville factory (Seine-Maritime) had resumed on April 28 thanks to a health protocol validated by the CFDT, CFE-CGC and FO, the Havre court, seized by the CGT, condemned Thursday in summary proceedings Renault "To suspend the resumption of production" because it does not "ensure [...] the safety of workers".
According to the management of Renault, which appealed, "the court's decision mainly concerns the procedures for presenting all of the preventive measures to staff representative bodies".
"We have to stop this type of practice [...] I am in favor of promoting local social dialogue and of coming out of" sterile contributions of force ", said Mr. Berger on Saturday.
“The reality is that the factory will remain closed on Monday and that 700 temporary workers will be sent home. It is not a service rendered to workers ”, he deplored.
