Gold prices rose in today's trading to its highest level in more than seven years.
Reuters reported that the price of an ounce of gold (ounce) reached $ 1759.23 after it had previously risen to the highest level since October 12, 2012 at $ 1764.46.
Gold gained in the US futures trading 0.9 percent to reach $ 1772.70 an ounce.
Regarding other precious metals, palladium rose 3.3 percent to 1964.54 dollars an ounce, after rising more than nine percent earlier in the session, while platinum gained 1.1 percent to 805.55 dollars, while silver increased 3.7 percent and reached 17.23 dollars an ounce.
