Renault is it so badly that it must be perfused with a loan guaranteed by the state of 5 billion euros and undergo a slimming cure of 2 billion euros of savings by 2022 ? Already, during the presentation of the results for the year 2019, mid-February, the health check of the Losange did not appear brilliant: a net loss of 141 million euros, after ten years in the green. Group sales fell 3.4% last year to 3.75 million vehicles. As for turnover, it fell by 3.3% to 55.53 billion euros. The operating margin fell from 6.3% to 4.8%, losing 950 million euros.
