Spring wants to sell laundry capsules by subscription

The start-up has raised 2.1 million euros. It relies on practicality and eco-responsibility to attract customers.


Receive in its mailbox, every eight or ten weeks, ultra-concentrated laundry capsules with a "clean" formulation free of controversial ingredient, and without overpackaging. Here is what the start-up Spring will offer by the start of the school year to the French. Founded in 2019 by Philippe Cantet, creator of the smoothie brand Innocent, Laure Favre and Benjamin Guerville, the start-up has just raised 2.1 million euros from Aglaé Ventures investment funds (ManoMano, Spotify, Airbnb) , Eutopia (Feed, Tediber) and Ventech as well as business angels.

Spring has set itself the objective of conquering within a year "several hundred thousand customers," says Philippe Cantet. The subscription is an ideal solution for laundry, which is not a pleasure purchase.
