The International Monetary Fund endorsed this Tuesday the new offer of the Government to the bondholders and said it is an "important step" in the debt restructuring process.
According to a spokesman for the Fund in Washington, "the new offer by the Argentine authorities is an important step in the process of restructuring the debt with private creditors."
He added that "we hope that all parties involved will continue to work constructively and in a timely manner with the aim of reaching an agreement that places public debt on a sustainable path, and lays the foundation for future inclusive and durable growth."
