Some are there every day. They know by heart the three levels with the felted corridors of the largest casino in France in terms of turnover. In 2019, gross gaming revenue (the difference between players' bets and winnings) was over € 160 million. A year later, revenues are at half mast, weighed down by nearly three months of closure. When it reopened on June 21, the building overlooking Lake Eghien, in Val-d'Oise, was relieved to see the regulars crowding in front of the doors. “ The reunion was warm and even moving for some customers who know the staff very well ,” recalls Patricia Legros, general manager of the Casino Barrière.
