A few days after having obtained the green light from the European Commission to buy Bombardier Transport, Alstom announces that it wants to develop its offer on the subsidiary of the Canadian group Bombardier. The TGV manufacturer had the unpleasant surprise to discover an evolution, described as “ unexpected and negative ” in the accounts of Bombardier Transport. Alstom said Monday, August 10, that it " will take into account the consequences of these financial and operational developments during future discussions with Bombardier, and will keep the market informed, if necessary ". Alstom shares took the hit, losing 1.4% in a rising market.
