Crude oil prices rose more than 2 percent today after US government data showed a broad decline in US crude oil inventories.
Reuters reported that Brent crude rose 95 cents, equivalent to 2.1 percent, to $ 45.44 a barrel, after dropping about 1 percent yesterday.
West Texas Intermediate crude rose a dollar, or 2.5 percent, to record $ 42.61 a barrel, after falling 0.8 percent in the previous session.
US crude production decreased to 10.7 million barrels per day from 11 million barrels per day in the previous week.
