The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources announced the readiness of three gas wells to be put into service, with a total production estimated at 700,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
The ministry stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that its cadres were able to complete the repair work on the wells “Abu Rabah 10 and Sharq Al-Ark 1” as well as the drilling work on the “Sharifa 6” well in the central region and that the three wells are ready to be put into service and start gas production .
On the 23rd of last May, the Ministry placed the Qara 8 well into service with a production capacity of 150,000 cubic meters of gas per day.
