Members of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry focused in their interventions during the Chamber’s annual General Assembly meeting on the demand to complete and secure the necessary services for the industrial zones in “Al-Lermoun, Al-Shaqif, Al-Kallasa, Al-Qatirji, Al-Ramoussa, and the Industrial City in Sheikh Najjar,” increasing the hours of electrical feeding and activating the telephone service.

The demands emphasized the expansion of electrical networks, the installation of transmission centers, night lighting, the transfer of rubble, the asphalting of the streets, the maintenance of water networks and the castles that were damaged by terrorism, and the handing over of the owners of industrial facilities sufficient quantities of fuel.

They also demanded to amend the urban system in the Lyramoun area, reduce the price of cotton yarn at government companies and establishments of yarn, and the necessity of importing the materials needed for the manufacture and curettage of jeans, securing the medical staff for the industrial city dispensary in Sheikh Najjar, and creating a bakery there.

Engineer Faris Al-Shihabi, head of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, called on industrialists to continue work and production, achieve self-sufficiency and export to meet the challenges facing Syria and the illegal economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people and the so-called American "Caesar Law", pointing to the importance of industrial initiatives to improve the economic reality and work with the government team To meet the rightful demands of the industrialists and the importance of issuing legislation and laws for the industrial zones affected by terrorism in Aleppo.

The industrialist, Samir Darklet, pointed out the need to amend the hygiene law to allow the waste of industrial facilities to be deported. Muhammad Zakaria Sabouni also called for the need to pay attention to the liberated industrial area of ​​Shaqif in the service and maintenance of the infrastructure there.

At the end of the meeting, the Chamber's general budget, financial and accounting reports were approved.
