Faced with the overcrowding of medical analysis laboratories and the growing demand for PCR tests, other screening systems are being put in place by the public authorities, forcing manufacturers to step up.
Among them, the rapid antigenic tests, which could be the subject this week of a validation by the High Authority of Health (HAS).
Olivier Véran, Minister of Health, announced Thursday that he had ordered 5 million of these tests, which should

In the case of nasopharyngeal swabs as with conventional PCR tests, results are obtained much faster, in just fifteen minutes.
And their reading does not require equipment.
Less expensive to manufacture, they are almost half the price to sell, around ten euros.
They must nevertheless be confirmed by a PCR test in the event of a positive result.
