Gold prices rose today, with the dollar retreating from its two-month peak recorded last week.
Reuters reported that gold rose in the spot market 0.1 percent to 1861.13 dollars an ounce, and in futures trading in the United States, the yellow metal settled at 1865.90 dollars.
The dollar index fell 0.2 percent against its rivals, slightly down from a two-month peak it hit last week.
As for the other precious metals, silver stabilized at $ 22.87 an ounce, while platinum gained 0.6 percent to record $ 852.21, and palladium rose 0.1 0.1 to $ 2218.18.
