Gold rose about 1 percent today, recovering from an early loss, and down about 2 percent in the previous session.
According to Reuters, gold increased in spot transactions by 1 percent to 1895.46 dollars an ounce.
In contrast, gold fell in futures trading in the United States 0,4 percent to 1901,601 dollars an ounce.
As for other precious metals, silver rose 2.8 percent to $ 23.74 an ounce, and platinum rose 2.4 percent to $ 868.92, while palladium rose 0.6 percent to $ 2354.11.
