Some 61,000 homes remained without electricity Wednesday at 1 pm, indicated the electricity distributor Enedis, because of “
significant damage
” on the network, caused by the storm Barbara, which notably swept the South-West.
On Wednesday morning, 76,000 Enedis customers were cut off from the electricity network, according to the first situation update, carried out at 8:30 am.
Among them, 15,000 are located in Auvergne, the group told AFP.

More than 700 Enedis technicians and 200 employees of service companies are mobilized in areas affected by bad weather to restore the electricity network as quickly as possible
