The profits of the institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Industry from the beginning of the year until last month amounted to 48,992 billion Syrian pounds, with an increase of more than 31 billion pounds compared to the same period last year, during which it recorded about 17,621 billion pounds.
According to the production and marketing report of the ministry, which SANA obtained a copy of, the engineering institution topped the values of profits by more than 24 billion pounds, followed by the textile enterprise of 9.4 billion pounds, the cotton institution 4 billion, the tobacco establishment of 3.6 billion, the chemical enterprise 3.2 billion, cement more than two billion pounds, and the food establishment 2.2 billion pounds Sugar is 300 million pounds.
The report stated that the total value of production in the institutions of the Ministry of Industry amounted to 329.457 billion pounds, while the value of production during the same period last year was 270 billion.
In terms of sales, the report showed that the value of sales during the first ten months of the year amounted to 343.131 billion pounds, an increase of 73 billion pounds over the same period last year, which had recorded 270 billion.
The report indicated that the highest sales value was in the cement enterprise with a value of 80.618 billion pounds, the engineering company 64.758 billion pounds, the tobacco establishment 57.26 billion pounds, the textile 53.66 billion pounds, the cotton institution 34,515 billion, the food establishment 27,769 billion, the chemical enterprise 18.8 billion, and the sugar institution with 5,771 billion pounds.
