The Dax, the flagship index of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, whose image has been seriously damaged by the Wirecard scandal, will undergo a profound change.
The main barometer of the German stock market will drop from 30 to 40 values, Deutsche Börse announced on Tuesday.
These ten values will be drawn from the MDax, the index of average values, which will drop from 60 values to 50. These changes will take place from September 2021 specifies Deutsche Börse.
They are the result of a vast consultation launched by the operator of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
An initiative that has aroused keen interest from the financial community:
"More than 600 market players, banks, management companies and associations of small shareholders
