Japanese car maker Honda Motors today announced that 1.79 million cars have been recalled globally in four separate campaigns due to safety issues.
Reuters quoted the company as saying in a statement that the recall includes 1.4 million cars in the United States, and one of the recall campaigns includes 268,000 CRVs produced in the years 2002-2006 in the United States to replace the main switches to control the electric windows, explaining that it was not No injuries were reported, but 16 fires related to this problem were reported.
Honda previously recalled cars in 2012 to replace electric windows' master switches.
