The financial directorates in Homs, As-Suwayda and Daraa, in coordination with the branches of the National Fund for Social Aid, began disbursing the first installment of the financial reward for those who were admitted to the second phase of the program to support and empower the demobilized.

In Homs, Moaz Abara, Director of Finance, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the directorate today began disbursing monthly bonuses to 2,400 theater admissions in the second phase of the support and empowerment program for laid-offs, and disbursing an amount of 35,000 Syrian pounds per month for each eligible person for a year.

Abara pointed out that all preparations have been taken to facilitate the obtaining of the demobilized persons covered by the bonus to obtain it by determining the place of its disbursement in the Homs Finance Directorate and its financial departments in Rastan, Al-Qusayr, Al-Mukhram, Tal Kalakh, Shan, Sadad and the cellar, with the need to follow all precautionary measures to address the Corona virus.

In As-Suwayda, Director of Finance Akram Faraj told a SANA reporter that the disbursement of the amounts owed to the demobilized persons admitted to the second phase of the support and empowerment program for demobilized persons in the governorate is according to the tables received for the directorate by the branch of the National Fund for Social Aid.

For her part, the director of the National Fund for Social Aid in Sweida, Nabiha Saab, indicated that the second phase of the program to support and empower laid-offs includes 454 theaters, each of whom is awarded 35,000 pounds per month.

The demobilized Khalil Ezzi, Raji and Rami Saab indicated that the reward is a help in these difficult circumstances until they find a job or a job, stressing the importance of increasing its value for the coming period.

And in Daraa, the Directorate of Finance in Daraa today began disbursing the first installment of the financial reward for those admitted to the second stage.

The Director of Social Affairs and Labor, Nibal Al-Hariri, stated that the number of those entitled to the first batch is 233 theaters, which will be offered to each of them through the Daraa Finance Directorate’s fund of 35,000 pounds per month.

The director of the treasury at Daraa Finance, Sultan Qatifan, stated in a similar statement that the disbursement is exclusively for the person concerned and in accordance with the precautionary measures for dealing with the Coronavirus.

One of the laid-offs, Imad al-Miqdad, stated that the exchange process took place smoothly and without crowding, amid precautionary measures related to wearing masks and spatial distancing.
