Since mid-November, flight authorizations have been given in Brazil and the United States.
The aircraft has even resumed service since the end of December in the United States after a promotional flight made earlier by American Airlines.
Only China for the moment is still reserved on this authorization.
One year without flying
Never in the history of civil aviation has an airplane been grounded for so long.
A blow for Boeing when this aircraft represented more than two thirds of Boeing's order book before the accidents.
Boeing has made changes to the 737 MAX including the MCAS flight control software, which the pilots of the flights of Lion Air, on October 29, 2018, and of Ethiopian Airlines, on March 10, 2019, had failed to control.
Other software must also be changed, as does the repositioning of some cables.
Boeing plans to set up an operations center that will monitor all flights in real time.
But for the families of the victims, this is insufficient.
They believe that there are still technical problems to be corrected and advise against going on board.
