Eurazeo benefits from the boom in private equity

The investment company is a candidate for the takeover of Aviva France, which manages the life insurance of Afer.


Private equity is boosted by the crisis.

"It is accelerating the development of the sector, which in 2020 again demonstrated that it has become a major player in the financing of the economy,"

says Virginie Morgon, Chairman of the Management Board of Eurazeo.

In recent years, low rates - which have attracted investors to this profitable asset class - and companies' disenchantment with the stock market have largely been at the origin of the boom in investment in unlisted companies.
