Hercules stumbled.
The lengthening of negotiations between the French government and Brussels around the EDF reorganization plan, called Hercules, worries the markets.
The EDF course lost nearly 15% on Monday, erasing the gains accumulated since the fall and positive rumors about the advent of Hercules.
On Monday, a press article acted as a catalyst.
According to the BFM Business website, Brussels would have requested a period of 6 months to continue the discussions, which began more than a year ago.
The government wanted to complete them before the end of 2020 in order to implement the reform before the presidential election of 2022.

The information from BFM Business was denied in the middle of the day by the government.
“This negotiation is underway, and no additional time has been requested in any way to carry it out,”
insisted the entourage of the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire.
