A new legal fund will fund compensation claims from the state

The Israeli Alliance is establishing a legal fund for small business claims that have not been compensated by the state for damages caused to them by the Corona crisis.
The purpose of the fund - to enable small businesses to get what they deserve from the state, and bridge the high cost of legal representation "More than 100,000 businesses have closed in Israel since the beginning of the Corona crisis and another similar order is at serious risk, despite compensation "It was too late. The corona overthrew those who ran their business well, as well as those who ran responsibly. When the state closes a branch, it must compensate and it does not," explains Shai Cohen, CEO of the Israeli Alliance.
The legal fund was set up in the Israeli alliance following the Corona default testimony project "We were exposed to hundreds of stories," Cohen adds, "In money. We call on the public to help business owners claim what they deserve."
The fund will allow business owners affected by the Corona crisis to sue the state for a series of areas for which no compensation has been received, including fines cancellations due to selective enforcement, breach of contract, customer loss and closure of entire industries without a satisfactory response.
The fund will provide attorneys who will provide legal services to businesses.
The Israeli Alliance also wants to collect injured business owners and calls on them to fill out a special claim form found on the campaign page.
Among other things, the campaign page states that: "The Shankim Legal Fund will address those affected by the Corona default: If you are a business owner who did not receive the compensation he deserved despite meeting the criteria - we will help you get the compensation. The government and you are forced to close the business - we will help you formulate a claim that will get you what you deserve. Anyone who has claims against the government and state authorities, but can not finance legal proceedings alone - we set up this fund to help you. "We do not know how we will survive another month - but one thing we do know - help will not come from the detached government if we do not come and take it by force."
