The price of gold in the local market today increased by 5,000 Syrian pounds, compared to yesterday's price.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Association for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus, the selling price was recorded at / 183,000 / Syrian pounds for the 21-carat gram and the purchase / 182500 / lira, while the price of a gram of gold was / 18 / selling / 156,857 / pounds and buying / 156357 / pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued, indicating that selling at a price higher than the specified price is a violation that exposes the perpetrator to legal violations and closing the shop.
