The work of the Syrian-Iranian Business Opportunities and Approaches Forum was launched at the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tehran today.
The forum discusses several topics that can affect the increase in Iranian-Syrian exports, including the abolition of customs duties for goods exported to Syria, which amount to 4 percent, and the reduction of the ban on exporting 80 commodities to the level of one-third.
The launch of the forum was attended by a number of Iranian officials, including the President of the Trade Development Organization, Hamid Zadboom, and the Chairman of the Iranian-Syrian Joint Chamber of Commerce, Kiwan Kashfi.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture has opened a trade center in Damascus, and permanent exhibitions will be held for some Iranian products and creating a commercial environment for exporters.
