Oil prices rose for the second consecutive session today.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures rose 53 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $ 64.60, and US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 46 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $ 61.74 a barrel.
The rise in oil prices was driven by the decrease in US fuel stocks and the possibility that OPEC Plus producers would take a decision against increasing production at an important meeting to be held later today.
