The scam, of the type known as "phishing" is based on the temptation of the recipient of the message to respond, as soon as you click on the link the computer or mobile phone becomes an easy target for hacking - hence the short way to identity theft, credit information, remote computer takeover and more.
The Shufersal company responded:
"In recent days, we have witnessed a site impersonating the Shufersal Online site and simulating an iPhone winning message for the purpose of collecting customer information.
We emphasize that this is advertising fraud and impersonation aimed at gathering information (" phishing ") and Shufersal has nothing to do with this ad

To protect your privacy, you are asked not to enter the link in question, not to enter details in it and not to distribute it further. "
It should be noted that Shufersal is not the first big brand, certainly not the only one that criminal elements impersonate its officials to fraudulently obtain the details of its customers.
The phenomenon, which has been known for years, has intensified greatly in recent months, especially during the corona days, when the percentage of Israelis purchasing various products online increased.
