WIND's cooperative scooters arrive in Kiryat Ono.
After a long period in which the operator of the scooter rental service identified concentrations of tools in the city and in light of demands that came from customers, the company entered the series of deployment of the service in the city.
The arrangement made with the Kiryat Ono municipality included the allocation of regulated parking spaces for scooters, signage and speed limits near educational institutions.
The locations of the scooters and other information such as the presence of a helmet attached to the tool will be displayed to the new users of the service's app.
This is the first entry of one of the scooter rental companies into the city and out of a desire to encourage users to use them it does not charge a fee for opening a scooter ride and charges users a fee according to the time of use.
The average cost for travel by weighting the average usage time by distance is about 50 cents per kilometer.

Popular and effective, but dangerous
The cooperative scooter services that entered the big cities but a few years ago and gained very high popularity, have gained further momentum in demand in the past year, when customers who wanted to avoid using public transport for fear of exposure to Corona patients found them available and convenient.
In the past year, companies have introduced stricter verification mechanisms for rider age, following cases in which boys under the age of allowed to ride (16) were involved in accidents.
The companies also began equipping the scooters with helmets to encourage riders to use them.
