The price of gold in the local market rose today by 6 thousand pounds compared to its last price the day before yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, the 21-carat gram of gold recorded the selling price of 198,000 Syrian pounds and the purchase price of 197,5 thousand Syrian pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached the selling price of 169714 pounds and the purchase price of 169,214 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued, and also called on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except in accordance with the bulletin issued by the association. It also distributed telephone numbers for complaints 2230766 and 2248005.
