While the health crisis continues to affect the French economy, Fnac Darty is doing well. The group announced on Tuesday that it had repaid all of its State Guaranteed Loan (PGE) of 500 million. 'euros.

In April 2020, the French company was the first to be entitled to this aid put in place by the executive to support the economy in the face of the health crisis and its consequences.
Fnac Darty had thus taken out this loan from a “
pool
” of banks for one year (renewable for five years) and 70% guaranteed by the State.
According to the latest figures from the Ministry of the Economy, the PGE has been distributed nearly 657,000 times by banks for an amount of more than 133 billion euros.
Increase in turnover in 2020
"This instrument will have enabled Fnac Darty to apprehend the health crisis with confidence throughout 2020"

The previous year it indeed achieved a turnover of 7.49 billion euros, up 1.9% on a reported basis, and 0.6% on a comparable basis.
